The Alphabark Challenge, 2014! 14 To 26!

Here, have a smooch
From this lovable pooch
No A to Zed
It fills me with dread
So mark
And hark
Here's the Alphabark!
Part number two
Just for you!
If you missed part one
Here was the Fun!
"N" is for "Noodles"
Oodles of noodles
You stick them in water
Just like you ought ta
And what have you got
One silly noodle stuck to the pot

"O" is for "Ogopogo"
Way to go, go, go
Canadian lake creature
Is what we feature
Ogopogo can kick Nessie's rear
Take that, you Loch Ness dear

"P" is for "Poodle"
Which rhymes with noodle
Doggy jumps through hoops
And you scoop its poops

"Q" is for "Query"
Hi publisher, deary

"R" is for "Rivet"
Don't you forget
The noise of a frog
Over there on a log
There you go
I toad you so

"S" is for "Sasquatch"
Go have a watch
Don't say, "Big Foot"
Or you might be kaput

"T" is for "Toadstool"
How very cool
No, not that load
Not a stool from a toad

"U" is for "Unread"
Start over, instead

"V" is for "Vacuum"
Instead of a broom
Knowing my luck
My vacuum wont suck

"W" is for "Weird"
Oh, how they cheered
For the Alphabark
That's having a lark
Not lark as in bird
Haven't you heard

"X" is for "Xerox"
Photocopy your cocks
Place your butt on the screen
How very obscene

"Y" is for "Y am I doing this?"
Am I taking the p**s?
Look below
And you will know

"Z" is for "Zest"
My good-natured jest
I did this with Zeal
How do you feel?

The other half done
Oh what fun
The Alphabark Challenge
My friendly revenge.

  29. I'm seeing, dear Penny
That I rhymed "verse" with "verse."
How creative is that? Could it get much worse?
I could've rhymed "turd" with "turd"
Or "word" with "word" I suppose
A rhyme for each word has arose (or arisen. Whatever).
It's like taking a selfie of myself and I see
That the photo is myself and the photographer me.
And I applaud the photographer and add a frame to my face
Then I end where I started

  39. Hi Penny - well I'm very late, but your Master will cope won't he! ... wonderful idea to do the Alphabark - very creative and you've encouraged lots of bloggers to do the same?!

And if you keep going like this we might have another Challenge in 2015 with the Z-A Alphabark Challenge .. sure hope you've got the wee folks on your side to help you next year?!

Happy Easter and many good thoughts for the days ahead .. Hilary

    1. Hi human, Hilary,

And I even later in replying. Oops and arf! Lots of bloggers will be doing the same. I need a few more co-hosts for next year's Alphabark Challenge.

The wee folks have agreed to be co-hosts next year. We hope you come and join us. So much easier and a lot less stressful, my kind human.

Hope you had a lovely Easter, dear Hilary.

O yes, I know all about you being up in the Okanagan. Those parades in your honour are O so legendary. Seriously, good sir, it really is an amazing part of Canada. The geography takes a lot of folks by surprise.

      Thank you, Lee.

Where was I... Oh yes, so I wanted to say that I am SO sorry for not dropping by in forever... I know you know why (I suck, people) but I am soooo appreciative of YOU, Sir Gazza, and Penny, too, and your friendship is worth much more than two bob, a thruppence or even a ha'penny bit :)

    1. Greetings and hallucinations, good Sir Mazza,

Ah yes, the next posting after this posting has the comments switched off so those obsessed with the alphabet could get on with trying to have some brief, relaxing moments at this ever so shy and modest site :) Then again, switching off comments is kinda neat n'stuff.

Dude, you need never worry about dropping in here and commenting. I sense your aura and the smell of a smoking grass skirt. It's all good and Penny thinks you are very nice for a human.
