Penny's Pawblished Pawmotion.

Greetings, yes it's me, Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar!  Note my crap notes, I mean scrap notes in my photo.

Because I'm such a kind, caring, sharing and oh so lovable dog, I'm going to pawmote a pawblished author.  I know my undeniable influence in the dogging, I mean, blogging world, will help increase awareness of this fine writer.  Here we go......
Available now.  "Treadwell" by author Dana Joy Wyzard.

The Blurb

"After living for sixty years in the cabin of her birth, Nelda Pike is as resilient and self-reliant as she needs to be. Like other residents in the backwoods town of Treadwell, she guards her anonymity with a fierce tenacity and a shotgun. When she discovers a terrified young woman stumbling beside the country road, Nelda goes against her better judgement and offers temporary sanctuary. As the only witness to her mother/s brutal murder, seventeen year old Laura is running for her life. Successfully tracking her to Nelda's secluded cabin, the killers forcibly abduct Laura and disappear into the backwoods. Enraged, Nelda reaches out to her lifelong friend, Wosie Mae - a woman as irascible and indomitable as Nelda herself, for help. Together, two old women with shotguns, and a geriatric hound, are now on the murderer's trail."

You can get information on how to purchase Dana's book here :  "Treadwell", by Dana Joy Wyzard

I would also highly recommend, if for some unbelievable reason you've never visited her blog site, you can find it and further info about her book and her take on life, here :  WITLESS RELOCATION PROGRAM

Okay, that it's from me, Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar!  On behalf of my human, Gary, yes the human I so kindly allow to live with me, we wish Dana much success with her book.  Now, I'm going for a well deserved doggy nap......

  7. NOW you've gone and done it. Beau never got to read my book before Penny. Mybabyjean asked if it's on Kindle. It is, but I'm the gatekeeper of the internet address. I'll toddle on over to her blog and leave the url.

YOU, my dear man, found a way to break a week long depression and an odd 'noise sensitivity' I'm having.

Do noises make you "edgy"? Just crackling plastic wrap is doing it to me, so you can imagine how near-to-death is Stud's life right now....he snores.

    Thank you,
your adoring fan and Penny's chance to get a free chew-bone.

    1. Hey lotta joy,

Say hello to Beau after Beau finishes chewing up, I mean, reading your book! :) And yes, thank you for contacting Delores. I used all the links I could find to direct your ever growing list of adoring fans your way.

Noises such as thunder and fireworks, make me very nervous. My humans get a clue I'm nervous when they step in a wet spot on the carpet..Heck, I get freaked when I fart. Yes, even a diva dog like me is known to pass a bit of wind.

Pawhaps, sorry, perhaps you might think of plastic wrap as the crackling sound from a roaring fire. I know bubble wrap sounds like that. Maybe you could use one of those plugs they use for synchronised swimming on Stud's nose. Ignore that.

My human and my pawesome self, were so hoping that putting up this article would bring you a modicum of comfort. Please smile, even through gritted teeth. Sorry, didn't mean to mention teeth.

Pawsitive wishes to you and your loved ones. A chew-bone, eh! :)

  29. Hi Penny .. that was an excellent review - and you did it all yourself ... I know. Mr Gary couldn't possibly have put that together .. he needs to keep is sarcasm for the Z-A as he insists on doing it ...

Still the most important thing is - you keep that man on the right track (just!) .. must be hard work ... no wonder your writing was a bit wobbly .. but you can write and spell ... more than many of us humans can do ..

Hope that snow has eased .. but I think it hasn't ... the grey and cold and snow and melt .. I've had enough of the big-freeze ... cheers for now .. Hilary

The snow has eased. The weather is still bitterly cold up here. I hope you get some more warmth and all that snow goes away. Thank you, Hilary.
