Penny's Profound Pictorials Providing Perfect Prose Perhaps.

'Hi, it's me Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet star.  I've noted that Gary aka 'klahanie', has put up an anniversary posting celebrating his fourth year of blogging.  Well, lets set the record straight.  I Penny, the dog, with her very own award, have tried to make him a better writer.  It seems he has a ways to go.'

'And here's a photo that's definitely a reflection of my adorable self.'

'Such is the interest in my notable award that humans have been framing my framed award.'

'My friend, you can see photos of me and my award, almost anywhere.  Note the dude's excitement at seeing my award.'

'And, by golly, you can even see me on billboards.  A definite 'traffic stopper'.'

'In fact, I'm a member of the press.  I've been known to hound my leads to get that exclusive poop scoop, I mean scoop.  Yes, I'm a highly respected member of the 'Puppyarazzi'.'

'Yes, I'm very famous or infamous.  It's so nice to feel wanted.'

'Gosh, everyone loves me.  Hey lady, get away from my butt or you might be in for a bit of a surprise!'

'And look at this.  I discovered one of my cat buddies looking through a photo album of my gorgeous self.  Can you see how thrilled our kitty friend is?'

Here's further proof, that I Penny the Jack Russell dog, is indeed an internet star.  A modest internet star, of course.  See how the ginger cat is in paw, I mean, in awe of my fame.'

'And thus, my friend, here I am thinking about what next to 'pawblish' after this posting.  Oh, and look what I see on the computer screen.   Come here little kitty cat....'

'Before I go for my latest nap, I would like to thank my dear human friend in New Zealand for sending me over the 'proof' that my well deserved fame has brought joy all over the world.  Thus, I Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet star, thank you, Wendy '

'My friend, pawesome and pawsitive wishes, your way, Penny :-)'

  1. I'm so thrilled to know you, Penny, you marvelous Jack Russell dog and modest internet star! You should get an additional award because your attempt at making Klahanie a better writer has indeed worked. He is a better writer because of you; no doubt about it. I'm not just thrilled, I'm so proud to know you, Penny, modest internet star. Keep up the good works. And have a pawitively wonderpaw weekend.

  2. I wonder if you were to title this post: Penny's Six P's, whether people would guess what they are. Perhaps not.

You are getting cleverer by the day Penny. Those billboards are awesome! I won't ask how you can be in so many places, I mean, how you did it - even though I'm dying to know...

Say 'hi!' to Gary will ya? I'm sure he's pleased that you've made him a famous blogger, and now an artist too.

  3. Dear Penny and the other guy,
I'm so glad that you're now not just a modest internet star, but appear to be famous in the outside world too. I love the photos of you up on those billboards.
As for Gary, he's never been as good a writer as you, although he does pawblish the odd very funny and pawsitive post.
Anyway, best wishes to you, Penny. Oh, and I suppose I should say just a small hello to Gary, too.
    David.

  8. When I saw the title of this post, I thought you were "Taking the P".

Now I see it was positively purposeful proof of profound pictorial proliferation.

Enjoy your nap, and say "Hi" to Gary.

  10. Hi Joylene,
Awe, thanks Joylene :-) Yes, I suppose my constant hounding of Gary has started to pay dividends in so far as his writing has started to improve. And additional award for me! :-) What a pawesome idea.
Hey, I'm like really honoured to know you, also. You are one of my heroes!

  11. Hi Grandpa,
Well, I'll tell you what. I've done a few 'P's' in my time.
Thanks for thinking I'm getting cleverer :-) There's an 'advertising campaign'in my honour, being circulated around the world. An of course, the photos sent to me by one of my growing legion of human fans, is obvious 'proof'.
Actually, if Gary paid more attention to me, he would be famous. As of now and after four years, he really is not that well known.
Hope you have had a pawesome weekend.
Pawsitive wishes, your way, Penny :-)

  12. Dear David,
For sure, my fame seems to know no boundaries. And yes, I love the photos of me on those billboards.
Actually, between you and me, David, he has tried to be funny, yet, if you look at the little box that you can tick 'funny', he hardly ever gets someone doing that. Maybe he should stop trying to be so funny! :-)
Pawsitive wishes to you and I shall pass on your small 'hello' to what's his name..
    'Arf, arf', Penny :-)

  16. Hi Teresa Ashby,
Thank you very much for thinking I'm gorgeous :-)
I like to take over this site and give Gary a break from writing. Then, hopefully, when he reads this posting, he will learn a bit more about better writing.

  20. Penny, you are no longer a modest internet star. You are famous and infamous rolled into one tight fist. You're going to be hounded by the press at this rate! :)

Perhaps Gary, could supply you with a fetching pair of dark sunglasses to go with your headphones? :)

Delightful post and thanks for the mention :)

PS. Penny, could I have a signed autograph? :)

  21. Hi Wendy,
The press have tried to hound me. Yet, me and my canine friends in the 'Puppyarazzi' have managed to keep them at bay. I mean, I do need some privacy from all the frenzied press interest :-)
Hey, a great idea! Gary should get me some dark sunglasses so that I could be 'indognito'! :-)
Thanks for thinking my delightful post was delightful and thank you, you kind human for sending me the 'proof' of my worldwide fame! :-)
And to show how grateful I am, you may indeed have my signed autograph :-)

  22. From Bazza's cat Ginger:
When dogs start blogging don't they call that 'dogging'? Oh, wait a minute, that word already has a meaning.
Gingers owner, Bazza’s Blog ‘To Discover Ice’

    ReplyDelete
  23. Hi Bazza's cat Ginger,
Oh Ginger, you're way behind the times. I've already made reference to that in a previous posting.
Here's a quote for you Ginger,

"I just want to take this opportunity to thank Penny for taking over and doing a bit of guest 'dogging', I mean, blogging. 'Dogging' is evidently a British euphemism for performing sexual acts in a semi-public place, often in a car, in a secluded car park. This can include group sex or, if you like, 'gang banging'. Voyeurism and exhibitionism are often part of this fun-filled festivity."

Pawsitive wishes and doggy kisses, Penny xx :-)

  24. Hey Penny you can't shmooze me by showing a picture of Great Aunt Gingie. Us cats have all of our sex in public but we call it 'catting'.

    ReplyDelete
  25. penny- don't read this...

Uh-oh, Gary! Me thinks Penny might be getting a big head!

    ReplyDelete
  26. Hey Bazza's cat Ginger,
Your 'Great Aunt Gingie' idolises me, yes me, Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet star :-)
Yes, us refined canines try to ignore your 'catting' capers. However, we cannot ignore you crapping in the vegetable patch.
    'Arf, arf! ' :-)

  27. Hello Her highness, Samantha Vérant,
Oh dear, too late, tis I, Penny the Jack Russell dog and still, a modest internet star. I will never let my well deserved fame go to my head.

  28. I love those pictures, man. How did you get Penny's picture in all those shots? Photoshop or some other application? and it's true... she's everywhere. In the major mags, on the Goodyear Blimp, on the side of buildings. Gosh. You did a good job with the pics. I gotta ask you... Is that ginger cat- my cat? That cat looks exactly like my cat with that dark orange "V" on it's head, for Victor.

Please give this message to Gary, Penny. Now, I must off to create mischief. Wish me luck and... take care of each other.

  29. as I pause for thought over the wonder that is Penny.
I wonder if you ginger cat is barking up the wrong tree.
Fame for a puss when in the company of such a dog.
He would have a far greater chance of swallowing a fur ball the size of a hog
than to compete with such a dog as thee.
okay it' s not great but I just had a pot of yogurt and I think waht ever was 'live' in it wasn't supposed to be... must dash

  30. Hi Kelly,
Glad you love those pictures, man. However, dear human being type dude, I am a Jack Russell dog. Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet star! :-)
My very dear human friend over in New Zealand, forwarded the overwhelming 'proof' that my totally justified fame, has reached around the globe and all the way to Uranus! 'Arf, arf!' :-)
Ah, so you noted my pawesome self being advertised on that floating thingy over your lil' ol' 'Stupor Bowl' :-)
Apparently, the ginger cat is related to 'Bazza's' cat which is evidently named 'Ginger'. The cat in the photo is believed to be 'Ginger's Great Aunt' or 'Great Aunt Gingie' :-) Then again, maybe it's Victor begging for my autograph.
I have informed Gary to go and check out your highly philosophical and much loved site full of really interesting stuff about maniac clowns n' stuff. Gosh :-)
'Take care of yourselves and each other', as Jerry Springer Spaniel, says! :-)
Pawsitive wishes and doggy kisses, your way, Penny xx

  34. Hi Penny, ohmy you're so famous, now, it's unbelievable. Wanted everywhere, how do you even breathe without someone shouting for a picture and a signed poster of your adorable self. Gary, your human servant must be exceptionally pleased with himself -for all the poop-scooping and hourly grooming that he has been giving you - that finally it's all being paid in fame! I bet he's constantly fussing over you! Please tell Gary to relax and send him my warmest regard too.

    Penny honey, stay cute!

  37. Hi Shanaz,
It gets rather hectic going for a walk these days. Humans, other dogs and jealous cats, all clambering for my highly prized autograph. Or they come along with one of my posters and beg me to place my paw print on it.
My human servant Gary, is a loyal and dedicated human. He realises the significance of my fame and I think he is finally learning to write a little bit better, thanks to my tutoring! :-)
'Gary..Shanaz tells you to relax and she sends her warmest regards to you.' Okay, he passes on his thanks for your very kind words :-)
