Beyond The Window.

It had been a windswept, rainy night.  The clouds passed.  The rain stopped.  Sprinkled droplets splashed upon yon window.  The street lamp cast an eerie glow.

Lessons have been learnt.  Those who would devalue our humanity, shall never, ever kill the good in the human spirit.  Together, in hope, we cope.  You, my friend, have shared that lesson.  Thank you.

And beyond the window, I saw the universe.

The eye was in a previous posting. Have you ever tried to take a photo of your eye? Eye did! :)

It is our belief that there is always hope, something upon which to hang even during the hopeless times.

Your new header picture is most attractive. Where is it?

    1. Hi Jane and Lance,

We both embrace such hope. Lessons are learnt and a rainy window becomes symbolic of a positive universe.

The header is the beach at the edge of the town named Cardigan, Wales. A peaceful day to you both.

  8. Hi Gary .. I love the photo ... and there's always more for all of us - and the human spirit cannot be kept down ... yours flies and is able to leave that motley abyss we get dragged to at times ... writing and expressing our challenges really does ease our way ... time has to pass and then life is easier - I'm sure it will be. With many thoughts and I hope Spring will bring a renewed and happier life ... Hilary

    1. Hi Hilary,

I thank you and yes, the photo is of raindrops glowing on a window from the light of a street lamp. Indeed, my dear friend, through the verbalisation and the sharing, we understand that the spirit of hope shall never be extinguished. With spring, a rebirth and a new hope. Your words are treasured, Hilary. In peace,

Without hope we are but wandering stars, going nowhere as we have no direction. Our human spirit can be broken at times but all is not lost because we survived, we got back up, shook the dust from off our clothes and continued.
