What The L Klahanie Jests.

I know, I know, what the "L" am I doing a challenge in reverse for?  Because I'm not actually participating in the "A to Z Blogging Challenge."   Of course, the co-hosts 'begged' me to participate.  However, I would never commit my site to an entire month of such a challenge.  No, not me.
"L" is for "Learner."  Did you know that in Britain you have to have a licence for your TV?  It took me ages to finally pass my test.  Most annoying having to have a learner sticker stuck on the screen until I finally passed my test.  The test entailed watching fifty hours of cooking shows and you can never watch enough cooking shows.  It also required watching  fifty hours of idiots who giggled, jumped around a lot and said, "Oh my God!", in every other sentence.  Yes indeed, fifty hours of "reality" TV.

Note Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet superstar posing with the "L" sticker that was removed from my TV when I passed the test for my TV licence.
"L" is for Leek, Staffordshire, England.  Not to be confused with Leek, Holland.  I moved to Leek in England because I always wanted to live in a town named after an onion.  And speaking of leek, our friend Hilary at this site, did an informative posting on the legendary leek.  If you have never visited Hilary, here she is :  Positive Letters....inspirational stories....
"K" is a special letter to me.  Kinda' kompletely konsumed konsequences konsidering klahanie.
"K" is for "K-Y Jelly."  After using said jelly, "Kleenex" may come in handy.
"J" is for "Jack rabbit."  A jack rabbit wearing a jacket.  I think it's a jack rabbit.  Then again, maybe I'm just splitting 'hares'.
"J" is for "Jack Rabbit."  "Jessica Rabbit" is so jealous!

Now if that's Jack Rabbit in a man's suit and you are Jessica Rabbit... what does that make Penny?
I've always wanted to live in a town named after a car. Preferably a sports car. Need to see if there is a Bugatti somewhere...

You certainly wouldn't if it was reruns of Friends or help, Glee Club!

Penny is actually the only real character on here. You, I'm reasonably sure, are a clone.

Let me know if you find Bugatti.

What a healthy meal. You can always watch TV with somebody who has passed their test. They have to sit beside you and make sure you're watching correctly and not fiddling with the remote control.

    1. Hi The Desert Rocks,

Always glad to bring a public service announcement :) Indeed, there's a Leek in England and Holland. Penny just read your comment and she smiled. Yes, she's a cute dog. Thank you, my friend.

    1. Hi Madison,

Oh yeah, that "L" sticker on my TV screen really hampered my view of all those 'talented' folks on the 'reality' shows! Oh my god! Thank you, Madison.

  47. I think that photo of the jacket-wearing rabbit might haunt my dreams tonight.

Love the picture of Penny with the letter L because I am using all my family's dogs to highlight the letter of the day. They were not patient about posing, but we all made it through unscathed.

    1. Hi Jocelyn,

Oh no. I hope the jack rabbit wearing a jacket wont be in your dreams tonight or any other night :)

What an imaginative theme you have. Amazing how just when you have them posed the way you like, dogs have this knack of moving out of the frame. I shall have Penny come and visit your site. Sounds intriguing :)

Thank you and the beauty of this is I do it any old way I like :) At one time, we also needed a licence to listen to the radio. Weird, eh.

    1. Hi Lexa,

It can be extremely difficult to keep up. So much so that I've taken over commenting for my human. He's asleep. Glad you realised that Alex, my starstruck fan, had posted about your good self. And congrats again on getting an agent. The Z to A, all the way.

  57. That part about getting a TV licence was especially fun. To really make it difficult, I'd add a requirement to watch 50 continuous hours of world news. Torture!

It was a lot of fun once I got to remove the "L" sticker off my TV screen. I shall pass on your great idea to the TV licencing department :)
