Paws And Effect.

Greetings, yes it's me, Penny the Jack Russell dog and modest internet star!  As pawmised, sorry, as promised, I'm submitting an article on Friday, October 12.

I've noted that my human's, Gary and Tristan, are continuing to pack boxes in preparation for getting the heck out of here.  I sense how much they now want to move.  I hope our moving experience is a moving experience.  In the meantime, we wait for that day when I can start new adventures, in a new garden, with my humans and our enchanting, magical friends, the 'wee folks'.

I mentioned in my previous article that I have another special announcement to make.  Right then, here goes.  A mystery guest poster has graced the site of one of my favourite humans.  Yes, the mystery guest poster has been featured on Alex J. Cavanaugh's site.  You probably know Alex.  He seems to be everywhere.  His support, encouragement and positive interaction is much admired.  So, be amazed and please go and check out his latest article, which is full of various fascinating information and even horror movie trivia.  I've no doubt you are curious and thus, here is the link to Alex's latest article,  A Modest Internet Star Visits, Ninja News Overload, Award, and Movie Trivia
Here is a photo of me in our garden during the past British 'summer'.  Okay, just kidding.  This was me acting as a snow plough last winter.  I cleared a pathway so my humans could get to the street.  Talk about paws and effect.

  1. Hi Penny (and your humans),
I certainly hope your impending move goes smoothly. You and your humans deserve a nice, positive environment where you can all flourish. And, of course, the wee folk will be packing their wee bags aswell in order to come along with you. I think now I'll go and check out your other pawsting, sorry, posting.
Very Best Wishes (and thanks for the call, Gary),
    David.

    1. Hi David,
Ah, my amazing human friend. Gary and Tristan continue to do some symbolic packing in readiness for a move. We desperately crave to get back a peaceful, positive environment. Our neighbours have destroyed our ambience.
The wee folks are packing wee bags and wondering what their new mushroom homes will be like. Hope you managed to check out my pawsting, sorry, posting.
All the best to you and Gary always enjoys talking to you.

    1. Hi Alex,
First of all, my illustrious human friend, thanks for having me guest post on your excellent site.
We sure need to get the heck out of Dodge! A move cannot come quick enough. All that noise below is making me tremble with fear.
It was my honour to be promoted to Superstar status! You can come and play in the snow. I shall clear a pathway and make it safe for you.

    1. Hi Old Kitty,
My humans are in the process of moving. We have encountered some nasty new neighbours and my humans have experienced this sort of situation before. They have had enough and so have I.
It will be a lovely place. This used to be a lovely place. Such a sad situation.
Thanks for thinking I sparkled over at Alex's site. You take care.

    1. Hi PT,
Thanks for that. Ah yes, fire hydrants. Sadly, I've never seen one in Britain. And we are trying to move to a bungalow, kind of like a rancher. Thus, hopefully no stairs.

  7. Hi Penny .. love the picture of you as a snow-plough - there was lots of that last year ... let's hope we have an easier year this one coming.

I just sincerely hope the move will be easy - and am so pleased you have two humans who can help so much .. look after yourselves - getting away sounds like an excellent remedy ... very good luck with packing etc ... and many thoughts to you all - Hilary

    1. Hi Hilary,
Thanks for that and I hope my snowploughing talents will not be put to much use this winter. Maybe, after such a horrible summer, we will have a pleasant winter.
A smooth move would be so nice. We do need to get away. The stress on us all is just awful. I should, after another nap, go and help my humans do some packing. Thanks, Hilary.

  8. Well I popped over and checked out your guest posting Penny. Excellent advice for writers...especially the 'never give up' part.
Now, I hope this move goes well for you and your family. I know some folks don't like to move but, to tell the truth, I really enjoy a good move. You'll get to throw stuff out you don't need anymore and find stuff you thought you lost. Fresh start....positive new beginnings. Sending hopeful and helpful thoughts your way.

I'm sure it will be a good move. A fresh start in a new adventure. I quite enjoy a good 'move', but that's another story. I have noticed that my humans have taken away a lot of stuff up to the recycling plant. And actually, going through some stuff made Tristan stumble upon one of my puppy photos that I posted up :)
Your hopeful and helpful thoughts are warmly embraced. Thank you.

Of course, new and exciting locations to piddle and sniff. A new garden, old trees, an old dude looking confused, a home for the wee folks and a place for Tristan to have a BBQ. 1. Hi Susan,
All dogs are superstars. And my postings are an ideal that demonstrates the unconditional love us superstar dogs share with humans. I knew you knew that. I do my best to give writing tips. It all started when I realised my human Gary needed help, lots of help, with his writing.
Sometimes I wear my special coat when I play in the snow or plough a path. It's a tweed design. I look like 'Sherlock Hound' in it.
