And you can discover Diane's blog site here: Spunk on a stick Wishing you all the very best, L. Diane Wolfe. May you continue to inspire authors, published or aspiring.
Speaking of aspiring authors, our blogging friend, Tammy Theriault, is working on a novel titled, "Living RunAway". I know that Tammy is taking a bit of break from the writing of it. So, as she notes and I quote: "I didn't know where to go with it. I don't outline, never liked it in school & continue that no not me philosophy. So I was the "fat guy in a little coat". I was stuck!" Yes, that dazzling radiance in the above photo is Tammy!
I just wanted to let Tammy know that she has my ongoing support. I know that the passion of writing will continue her on with her dream. If for some reason you have never actually visited Tammy' site, here is the link that takes you there : Tammy Theriault
That's it for now. In a few days time, I will be highlighting a book by a young author. And fairly soon, I will be announcing the publishing date of another author I have been working with in the background. Yes and for reasons beyond what my last two brains can ever comprehend, a number of writers, published, aspiring or just plain desperate, contact me.
Be well, my friend. May the magic of the written word continue to fill your heart and soul.
Hi Y'all!
ReplyDeleteWhat an interesting book...I'll have to get my Human to check it out.
Y'all come back now,
Hawk aka BrownDog
Hi Hawk,
DeleteGood idea. I'm sure your human will find it of much interest.
Y'all enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Gary :)
Well I could clearly use help in the promoting department. Though I'd hope it says more than the usual about social networking and so forth.
ReplyDeleteHi PT,
DeleteI understand you need more help in promoting your writing. I think you realise I promoted your book on my site and I regularly promote you via all those social network sites.
I don't see many making mention of what I do. Still, I basically don't give a crap. I'm here to try and help others and you know I'm wishing you well with your writing.
Enjoy the rest of the weekend.
Gary
Diane's book is great. Its easy to understand. I highly recommend it. I read another 'how to' book on publishing and misunderstood how ISBN #s worked. So I need to fix my Ebook.
ReplyDeleteHope all is well. Sir Poops and Hair Ball are working on interview questions for Penny.
Hugs and chocolate,
Shelly
Hi Shelly,
DeleteIndeed it is and easy to understand works for my last two remaining brain cells! :)
All be well and I hope you're having a great weekend. What an interview that will be. Sir Poops and Hair Ball interviewing Penny. That will be quite the um 'pawblished' 'pawsting'...
Gary
I'm reading Diane's book now and it's got some great stuff in it! And Tammy is awesome as well.
ReplyDeleteHi Alex,
DeleteOf course I wont say something pedantic like if you are reading Diane's book right now, how did you manage to type a comment? No sir, that would be just silly of me. A most informative book by Diane, for sure. And Tammy, yeah, okay, Tammy is awesome and can you keep this a secret? She's one of my starstruck fans!
Enjoy the rest of your weekend, good sir.
Gary
Flattered? Well that doesn't hold a candle to this. Thank you dear man! Diane is the bombdiggity, too! Red heads unite!!!
ReplyDeleteP.s. just wrote several thousand words...guess I'm no longer stuck!
DeleteHi Tammy,
DeleteHey, you know me. I'm sitting here by the candle light and I am more than happy to share your site and your hopes, your writing dreams here on my lil' ol' blog :) Diane and your good self, Reds rock on!
And yay, you are have become unstuck. I knew you could do it. Great stuff.
Enjoy the remainder of the weekend and happy writing, Tammy.
Gary :)

ReplyDeleteAha, the commented repeated, just like something out of "Groundhog Day"!

Hahaha...
DeleteHahaha...
DeleteYou are such a generous soul. Diane's book looks really interesting and it is wonderful that Tammy has got over her writer's block. Have you noticed just how many writers there are here in the blogosphere? Published, aspiring... Lots and lots. Still, they all need readers, and I can do that.
ReplyDeleteHi The Elephant's Child,
DeleteVery kind of you to say that. I discreetly try to help promote my friends and their writing, be they published or aspiring. I know how such encouragement can inspire.
Diane's book is highly informative and an excellent resource for writers and the curious.
There are so many we interact with in the blogging community who are writers. And be they published or dreaming of being published, I know we have total admiration for their dedication and determination
Indeed, I'm heartened to see Tammy overcome her writer's block. Happy reading and you know it's always a delight to read your superb writing over at your fascinating site.
And with time zones, enjoy the small remainder of your weekend, dear friend.
Gary :)
Congrats to both, they look great. Take care, Gary :)
ReplyDeleteHi Mark,
DeleteYes they are, just between you and me and this is a secret, they are two of my adoring starstruck fans! :) Be well, Mark.
Gary :)
Hi Gary - ordered Diane's book yesterday ... and what a lovely pic of Tammy - and I'm sure she'll suddenly see the light of day forward for her novel.
ReplyDeleteWonderful you're going to be supporting other writers ... looking forward to seeing who features here ..
Hope you're not swamped in cold and snow - it hasn't reached here yet ... but I think ours is coming from France?! Cheers and enjoy your walk with Penny today .. Hilary
Hi Hilary,
DeleteI know Diane will be most delighted you ordered her book. And the lovely Tammy seems to be back into the groove in her writing endeavour.
Thanks Hilary and I'm glad to hopefully be of some support and bring further awareness of writers. And, of course, they will inspire those who are pursuing their publishing dreams. A young author shall be featured in the next few days. And I should after that, be able to reveal the publish date of a writer I've been interacting with in the background.
We have had hints of snow and it's bloody cold up here. Any bad weather, might as well blame the French. Thanks, Hilary. Must let Penny take me for a walk.
Gary :)
Gary,
ReplyDeleteYou are such a good friend to promote these lovely books for your friends. Diane's sounds like an informative one. Soon, when Tammy feels driven, you'll be promoting her book too.
Whoopti doo.... another week. Fly by weeks.
Hi Manzanita,
DeleteI thank you for that. I believe if I can have my blog site be of some help, that's a most positive outcome. Diane's book is recommended reading. Now Tammy is back on the writing road and I hope that I might have the opportunity to announce the book has been published by Tammy.
Yes, weeks fly by. Look on the bright side, for the next two weeks, I'm one hour closer to you. Another two weeks before our clocks spring forward here.
Be well, dear friend.
Gary :)
That's very kind of you to promote people's books etc.. You truly have a good heart Gary. One day I might just get into reading books as I've never been into them before. I can't imagine reading one thing with hundreds of pages...
ReplyDeleteSince I started blogging a year ago, this is the closet I've been to reading so much everyday. I think you could equate the amount of blogs I've now read to reading several books although it's not exactly the same.
Anyway, enough of my rambles, and a big pat on your back with thumbs up Gary :)
Hi Rum-Punch Drunk,
DeleteThank you for saying that. I do try to be of some help. I got a bit delayed with this because 3D life got in the way :) Actually, I don't read that many books. I spend more time reading blogs that actually reading books. Well, it's reading, nonetheless. Thus, we are rather similar, my friend.
Your "rambles" are always welcomed :) A big high five to you and be well.
Gary
Tammy is grand as she comes to my land and does sound like a great read too. Look at you, promoting away. Psst I think Penny could do a better job though, just saying..lol
ReplyDeleteHi Pat,
DeleteYou just can't help yourself, can you? Sure, you have to rhyme and that aint no crime. Tammy is cool and I aint no fool. And lovely Diane, I'm her adoring fan.
Psst..Penny could indeed do a better job. She thinks of me as just a slob. Yet you, you see, Penny is better at 'pawetry' than you will ever be! lol
Gary ;)
I know about both these books! And I'm excited for Diane and Tammy. And aren't you wonderful, Gary, to help by sharing their news with us. You are such a fine pooper-healthy fellow!
ReplyDeleteHi Joylene,
DeleteI reckoned you knew about those books. And here we are, sharing the excitement. Yes, I'm wonderful, awesome, incredibly kind, generous and extremely humble. I'm a pooper and aint that super. Geez, this poetry crap keeps me on track.
Gary :)
Thank you so much, Gary! I'm sorry, I've been a bit under the weather this weekend, so I haven't checked many blogs.
ReplyDeleteBig congrats to Tammy - she's a wonderful person.
Hi Diane,
DeleteMy pleasure. I wished I'd be able to post this sooner. What with all my recent concerns, it got a bit delayed. Hope you feel better, very soon. Please just relax and look after yourself.
Tammy and your good self, such lovely ladies.
Gary
Tammy rocks and glad to see she's back on track with her ms. And congratulations to Diane, I'm hearing lots of great things about her book! (:
ReplyDeleteHi Elise,
DeleteTammy, rock and roll and writing. Yes, good to know she's back to her scribbling, I mean writing :) Diane, an inspiration to writers, published and aspiring.
Be well and stay warm. Evidently, over here in Britain, we can blame France for our latest batch of bad weather! Ooh la la! :)
Gary :)
You'll need to get one of them to put you in a book, that would be fun. I am sure they are all very grateful indeed for what you do for them.
ReplyDeleteHi Jenny,
DeleteI'm going to be mentioned in a book that's about to be published. One I've been interacting with the author in the background. Something about "Hi Gary" is in it somewhere :) I know they are all grateful and all these writers are starstruck by me. Yes, I think I just had a delusional moment.
Gary :)
Hi Gary. It seem's that your army of admirers (including me) see you as the Blogfather, the go-to man for all sources of wisdom.
ReplyDeleteHow wise they are to choose you!
Click here for Bazza’s Blog ‘To Discover Ice’
Hi bazza,
DeleteThat's incredibly flattering of you, good sir. Although I do try to share various sources of information, I'm but a humble, shy and oh so unassuming guy.
I do very much appreciate your kind thoughts. Your cheque's in the post :)
Gary :)
I bought her book, and it is very helpful. Answers those questions I have.
ReplyDeleteHi Susan Kane,
DeleteThat's fantastic you purchased Diane's book. And testimony to helpful it was for you. Thank you, Susan.
Gary :)
How nice to see you promoting these two terrific ladies and their books. I don't think it's a coincidence that as I type this comment, I see a badge on the right that says, "Good Bloggers Pay It Forward." Yes... you certainly do.
ReplyDeleteHi Susan Flett Swiderski,
DeleteVery kind of you, Susan. Of course, you are just as good in bringing further awareness of authors on your superbly written and very clever blog. We both sure do pay it forward and I thank you for your very thoughtful words.
Gary :)
WOW I didn't know you did that too! In two weeks,(or so the publisher says), there will be another book for you to talk about!!!
ReplyDeleteHi lotta joy,
DeleteAh yes, a man of variety. I also don't mind taking time out from doing my um must read, highly entertaining postings and neither does Penny, for that matter, to promote and bring further awareness of writers.
I get the hint and being a starstruck fan of yours, what an honour or "honor" if you insist on spelling incorrectly! :)
Gary, the dude.
Don't worry about Tammy...we'll keep on her and not let her give up. Outline or not; she's finishing!
ReplyDeleteHey Elizabeth,
DeleteMe worry about Tammy? Heck no. What with lovely folks such as you encouraging and supporting her, she will definitely finish!
Be well, Elizabeth.
Gary :)
Actually, I think playing catch up helps with marketing, because things get passed around on multiple dates. :)
ReplyDeleteHi M. J.,
DeleteThat sounds good. I now have this urge to go speed dating and catch up with all those who desperately want to go out with me and discuss marketing :)
Right then, time to go....
Gary :)
klahanie - I'm hoping to get L. Diane's book as soon as I get a nibble on my query.
ReplyDeleteI notice your comments all the time, by the way. You write such nice notes and then you say silly things about yourself or your presence. I wish you wouldn't. I enjoy reading what you have to say. I enjoy your comments about Stormy and the Wee Folk. Just wanted you to know.
HMG
Hi Heather,
DeleteI hope you manage to get Diane's book. Well worth a read.
My comments are caring, mixed with a bit of self-effacing humour. Nobody else has mentioned to me that when I say something silly in my comment, that it bothers them. However, duly noted and apologies for any misunderstanding.
Be well and keep smiling.
Gary :)
klahanie - I fear you misunderstand. Your comments on my blog are welcome. You make silly comments about yourself, like, "Who is this Gary?" Or you sign your commet, "Gary at his not worth reading blog."
ReplyDeleteTechnically there is nothing wrong with what you are writing except that you are continually slamming yourself. I just wish you wouldn't do that. You seem like a nice person and I don't think you should treat yourself that way. I hope I haven't offended.
Take care of yourself and the Wee Folk. HMG
Hi Heather,
DeleteI didn't misunderstand. My comments about myself are tongue-in-cheek. It's supposed to be ironic. I don't always do that.
You haven't offended me, Heather. In fact, I take on board how, because using a computer, you don't get the tonal inflections. That I might seem like I'm putting myself down. Heather, in fact, I'm here in the background supporting and I, as you will know, promote your blog on Facebook and Twitter.
I promise you that the next time I comment on your blog that I wont put down one of my silly additions.
With respect and sincerity, your friend,
Gary :)
