Ideals that reinforce the determination to make real change in our world. Those who would have the audacity to try and suppress, only make us stronger.
For the past four years I've been one of many victims in Britain. Situations, no matter where you live, you might relate to. The vulnerable, the sick, the disabled, the mentally ill, have been targeted by a ruthless British government. They have done their utmost to be positive energy saboteurs. This, with the new awareness of their evil, will cause their despicable actions to be remembered at the next general election.
I dream of a world where compassion replaces corruption. Compassion is not a weakness, but a beautiful strength.
We have a premium bond. We bond together in this new hope. A premium bond that will pay dividends to our children. A legacy of looking after this fragile planet, our fragile people and our fragile wildlife.

What really makes me mad is when governments waste money and the needy get hurt. I have always asked, why do politicians pay millions to get a job they will make thousands at? And how do they usually walk away millionaires?

It seems to me that the powers that be will always take from the most vulnerable. The last few months when I have been barely been able to care for myself I have had to fight for every bit of care I have received. I cannot begin to count the number of times that the ball was dropped and I had to fight for even the most basic needs. From medication to appointments that were canceled by professionals at the last minute to referrals that were not made. It made a horrible situation almost unbearable. There was many points where it indeed get to be "too much" but the only other option was suicide.

You will continue to embrace the support of your loved ones. Over here, I do it alone and I'm getting even sicker. People are dying in Britain because of our government. They have blood on their hands!!

Gary, I just found an amazing book that I think most of the world can benefit from... since I think we are all to some degree traumatized by life. It is called Unlearn Your Pain by Howard Schubiner, M.D. I bought mine off of Amazon and it has a meditation CD in it. The book delves into Mind Body Syndrome, which most doctors aren't aware exists. The power of the mind is incredible in terms of how we process our pain and that pain, in turn, manifests itself into illness in our bodies. Reading this book, I can finally see a light at the end of my pain tunnel and it makes me want to tell EVERYONE about it. I don't know that this will be your Ultimate Solution, but I think it has information in it that will improve the life of everyone who reads it. Be well, my friend!

This is negative speculation, which means I have to focus on realistic, positive anticipation that all will be fine. If only the British government would stop dredging up my own deep traumas. It is mental cruelty.

Your last sentence is a grabber. Many people suffer but our poor planet takes a hard hit that is seldom noticed as it happens. I remember in the 50's, right after the war, the popular saying was…. "Invest in plastics and chemicals. That's where the future lies." And everyone did just that and the big corporations got to be fat cats. Have you seen the program or documentary, something about after the people have gone. It shows the greenery coming back after the cities are empty and barren of people.

What a heartfelt posting. I wish it were so for everyone and sadly it isn't. I was just telling the hubby that over the last 4-5 years here in the US it doesn't even seem like the same country that I was born in and grew up in and It makes me sad that it has changed so much that it doesn't seem like the same country for my grand kids. My great uncle who was in his late seventies, needed a knee replacement. He was still active and one of his greetest pleasures was walking his farm in Brise Norton. The British medical system determined he was too old for the surgery--not based on his health, but based on his age alone. The family pooled their resources and he got his knee. Our government is actually trying to make things worse by privatising so that those who can least afford end up in a mess. Overall, our universal healthcare works very well. If the hearts around us share the ideals of making this world more compassionate and replacing corruption, that would be a dream my human and I embrace.
