I sense it. I am enlightened.. What words would describe your tangibility, your lucidity to the photo? Do you sense the words that describe your feeling of awe, of wonderment of the natural world? Do you imagine listening to the rushing waters?
The warm summer's breeze gently caresses your face. The water falls and falls, cascading down the rocks to the swirling pool below. You observe, you sense, you feel, you hear. Your mind, your heart, your soul, your passion for the written word, embraces the ambience. Like the swirling waters, your words doth flow.
The sign is there. The words are written in your heart.
Wonderful photos, Gary! I visited Wales once when I lived in London many years ago. Amazing place.
ReplyDeleteHi Alex,
DeleteThank you, good sir. And thus you know of the enchantment that be Wales.
A peaceful weekend to you.

A wonderful weekend to you, Morgan :)

Simply gorgeous Gary. You have given us beauty and peace. Again. Thank you.
ReplyDeleteHi Sue,
DeleteAnd thank you, dear lady. May we all embrace such beauty and peace. A time out from the hectic.
Enjoy the rest of your weekend.
Gary
I love waterfalls, I think it is the combination of tranquillity with incredible power. Looking at the photos I could hear the rushing water and feel the spray on my face. A nice way to start the day, thanks Gary.
ReplyDeleteHi Suzanne,
DeleteI'm encouraged that you feel the sensations. Your words describe such senses so very well. Thank you, Suzanne.
Have a good weekend and try to stay cool.
Gary
Awesome pictures Gary, haven't been far into Wales.....only the other side of the Severn Bridge. This was wonderful to look at. Thanks for sharing.
ReplyDeleteYvonne.
Hi Yvonne,
DeleteThank you. If you get the chance, the wonders of Wales can be a most positive tonic. My delight to share such beauty.
Wishing a peaceful weekend, Yvonne.
Gary
Bonjour mon ami, Sir Gazzza (say it with a French accent - the fourth z rolls off the ferry, er I mean the tongue :)
ReplyDeleteI'm surprised that the Welsh let an Englishman in - did you have to apply for a Euro passport? :)
PS... and I've been *dying* to say this:
"Nice Post..."
Geddit?
Gosh, I crack myself up :)
Monsieur Mazza,
DeleteComment allez-vous mon bon monsieur? Bonjour n'stuff.
We may roll you off zee ferry, mon ami! :)
I have a special Dragon passport that allows me through the Welsh Customs. When I say, "Customs", as in the border patrol and not any particular Welsh idiosyncrasies. Okay, I bribe them with Welsh rarebit. And no innuendos.
Ha ha and an extra bonus ha! Are you the clever clogs! :) You think somewhat like me. I'm starting to worry. "Nice Post..." I shall let you steak, sorry, stake a claim to that pedantic observation :)
Gosh and happy cracking. Talk about feeling shattered.
Have a happy weekend, Mazza.
Gary
This post has made me so relaxed. So beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHi Annalisa,
DeleteI'm heartened. Thank you.
May you have a relaxed, peaceful weekend.
Gary
Beautiful pictures. Thank you for posting them, and the words that accompany them too *smiles.
ReplyDeleteHi Michelle,
DeleteAnd thank you for your kind words.
Hope you are okay, dear lady.
Wishing you a peaceful, hopeful weekend.
Gary :)
You have the soul of a poet Gary.
ReplyDeleteThat first picture of ancient rock and water gives one a feeling of permanence doesn't it?
Hi Delores,
DeleteThanks and I'd better give that soul back :)
Permanence. A good thought and yes, I totally agree.
Wishing you a peaceful, positive weekend.
Gary
So beautiful. I'd spend all day there soaking it in. And taking pictures. Lots and lots of pictures. Yours are gorgeous.
ReplyDeleteHi Diane,
DeleteI know you would absorb the ambience. Your pictures, your passion for photography, accompanied by your words. Thank you, Diane.
A lovely weekend to you.
Gary
That's a purdy place.
ReplyDeleteHi Pat,

Gary
Gary, my friend, I would love to visit Cenarth Falls and just get lost in the wonder of the experience for hours and hours. Your words really addd to its physical beauty.
ReplyDeleteHi Keith,
DeleteYou are always welcome to get lost in Cenarth Falls :) I know you would embrace the whole experience. Thank you, my friend.
Have a magical time at the beach.
Gary
Oooooh, very new-agey. I can almost imagine the quiet soothing sound of a flute playing in the background as you speak your words in a calm, mellow voice. Beautiful, Gary, both the pictures, and your words. I didn't realize it, but you, sir, have the heart of a poet. (Now give it back!)
ReplyDeleteHi Susan,
DeleteYeah and a bit of a hippy trippy thing happening. Oh yes, a flute in the background playing magical songs of fairies and unicorns. Did you know I typed this in my mellowest Canadian accent :)
You are very thoughtful in your articulation, dearest friend. I giveth thee back thine poetic heart.
Be well and have a soothing weekend.
Gary
I've wanted to visit your corner of the world for a long time. Now I'm even more anxious to see it. Looks like you've been listening to some Tree of Life music...this is the type of stuff I see when listening to that grand music...
ReplyDeleteTina @ Life is Good
Hi Tina,
DeleteIf you grace these magical shores with your presence, do let me know. For it would be my honour to organise the parades for your good self.
I was listening to punk rock when I typed this. Okay, kidding, I did listen to some of the, Tree of Life, music. I was listening to, "Into the Mystic", by Van Morrison, when I typed this.
A peaceful, hopeful, happy weekend to you, Tina.
Gary :)
I love this place, Gary. The colors, the sounds, the scents.
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing these lovely pictures.
They transport my mind to a peaceful setting. I will go to my garden now. The forests are calling me...
Hugs,
Julia
Hi Julia,
DeleteI knew you would love such a place. All the sensations immersed in your heart.
I'm delighted to share the photos. May you be transported to the garden, the forest of happy thoughts.
A tranquil weekend to you, my friend.
Hugs,
Gary
You. Me. A blanket. A basket full of fruit. A camera. Shared peace and tranquility and totally innocent.
ReplyDeleteHi Lotta,
DeleteSuch a splendid scene you doth paint in the mind's eye. The innocence of youth that always will be.
Wishing you well, Dana.
A peaceful, hopeful weekend to you.
Gary
The picture does create a sense of softness of the running water humming. (I am translating my words from Hindi so forgive me if my English is a little disturbed.)
ReplyDeleteHi Munir,
DeleteYour articulation is gratefully embraced, dear lady. Your English is considerably better than my Hindi :)
A lovely weekend to you, Munir.
Gary
I am a nature child. In the cool stillness of the woods, or bubbling water of a river or the arid high mountain desert, I find peace and creativity. Lovely words, Gary.
ReplyDeleteHi Julie Luek,
DeleteAh, sweet child of nature. Your words resonate the creativity instilled in you by the wonders, the senses you feel in the great outdoors. Thank you, Julie.
A nature inspired weekend to you.
Gary
OMG! It's so beautiful. Why did I move to Egypt and not Wales instead? In my next life, I'm definitely going to live in Wales. :-)
ReplyDeleteHi Lexa,
DeleteWales is waiting for you. I hope you find a moment to visit and be taken in by such enchantment :)
Wishing you a hopeful, happy weekend.
Gary
You sure know how to wax poetic, Gary! I'm beginning to think my music has had a lyrical affect on your Muse:)
ReplyDeleteHi Samantha,
DeleteWax. Ah yes, but I cannot hold a candle to the poetry of the poets :) Your music does inspire the lyrical leanings that beat in my heart.
Perhaps I should listen to the band, "Muse" :)
A happy, peaceful weekend to you, Samantha.
Gary
just marvelous, I would so love to visit Wales one day, even if Tom Jones weren't from Wales :)
ReplyDeleteHi Caren,
DeleteWales would welcome you warmly :) Tom Jones! "What's new, pussycat?" Ha ha and ha! :)
A good weekend to you, Caren.
Gary
This is too deep for me. The only rushing waters I listen to are the ones that I create. Hmmmm pretty deep eh? ;) But on a serious note: I love the pics and I sure would love to visit Wales. I hear the dames are pretty deep, too. See, here I go again... I just can't help it. It must be my humping neighbors in Spain. Could they've been Welsh, I wonder....
ReplyDeleteHey Blue Dude n'stuff!
DeleteAh yes, the tinkling sound we wont mention. Very deep thoughts by you, hero of the Spanish.
Delighted you like the pics. And you are a wanted man in Wales. The Welsh and the Spanish have wild orgies together.
Be well and hooray for humps.
A pleasant and fun-filled weekend to you.
Gary
Hahaha yes! Blue Dud n'stuff.... I like that! How's life, Gary? A bit on the hot side I reckon. Hero of the Spanish.... Oh my. If only that were true. Wild orgies you say? And, pray, where does Mr Klahanie acquire his tantalizing intel these days haha :)
DeleteMr. Blue "Dud" n'stuff,
DeleteLife is nifty neato n'stuff, still! Ha ha! And yep, it's hot, hot, hot, in lil' ol' England n'stuff. Just like me! Oh yeah...
The Spanish are going to have "The Blue Grumpster" public holiday in your honour, or honor. Wild orgies are common in my abode. And you being a wild dud, um dude, are renowned for your kinky orgies, complete with party balloons and psychotic clowns....Party on, Blue! :)
You sure sound hot. I'll tell my neighbor. She'd be really interested haha. I love that public holiday. Does it come with a fine selection of women too? If so, I might need to get me a return ticket.... as in return - well, you get it. As long as it's not in December. Don't want to hear frozen bluebells ringing.
DeleteHope you're doing fine. Enjoy the heat and stay neat ;)
Sire Blue Dude,
DeleteIs that the neighbour who dances naked with the pixies...The pubic, sorry, public holiday in your honour will have floats of feminine fancy-thats that will be parading proudly, just for you in downtown Barcelona, Madrid, Seville and numerous kinky villages with equally kinky villagers. December can be pretty darned hot in Spain. Just think, amigo, you could have a Spanish Flamenco dancer, dancing to the gentle tune of 'Jingle Balls'....
The heat is cooking the meat :)
My favorite natural creation is the waterfall. As always, dear Gary, your words and pictures are beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHave a tranquil weekend.
xoRobyn
Hi Robyn,
DeleteI can relate to waterfalls. Although I've been known to create a waterfall myself. Yep, moving extremely swiftly on....
Your words are most flattering, dear lady.
A peaceful waterfall weekend to you, Robyn.
Gary :) x
Beautiful Photos!! Have you ever been to Niagra Falls in Canada? I knew you lived in Canada at one point.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post Gary!!
Hi Terry,
DeleteAh thank you, kind lady. Have I ever been to Viagra Falls, sorry, Niagara Falls? Yes I have with my then soon to be wife and now my ex-wife.
Thank you for thinking this was a beautiful post.
A peaceful rest of the weekend to you, Terry.
Gary :)
Wales is a beautiful place, and I love the scenery in your post. Oh how I long to take a long holiday where I can smell fresh air, hear the birds sing morning songs, see the sun rise and fall from a distance, touch the long grass and feel the earth under my feet and dream wonderful things at night.
ReplyDeleteWe are having a glorious summer right now, I'm not complaining at all, but London's not exactly Wales.
Hi Rum-Punch Drunk,
DeleteIndeed, a beautiful, enchanting place. Such a lovely setting where I took those photos. When not on holiday, I can still go on journeys of the imagination that take me to such locations. I know you will, when you have that well-deserved respite, take in all the wonders of nature.
This summer has been spectacular. Being from London, whenever I visit, I find a wonderment in its own right. Be well, my friend.
A pleasant, peaceful Sunday to you.
Gary :)
You are in my kind of territory now. You are my inspiration. There is a song of that.
ReplyDeletewant wee ones in my garden and turn it magical like yours. I don't have the little creatures but I found 2 really old iron lawn ornaments that belonged to my husband when he was in college. And that WAS a long time ago. Of course it's baseball.... About 2 ft. high, a pitcher and batter wearing the old knickers the baseball players of yesterday wore. Now I have a magical garden. See you do inspire me.
Dear Manzanita,
DeleteThere is a song in your words. The territory of enchantment fills your heart and soul.
Ah and the poignant memory of your beloved husband. And thus you have created a garden that is indeed a "Field of Dreams."
Inspiration breeds inspiration. I'm profoundly grateful knowing you.
In peace and have a wonderful rest of your weekend,
Gary :)
serenity!
ReplyDeleteyour strong personality shines like these sunny, colorful pictures!
Hi Tara,
DeleteYou are most kind. Thank you. Serenity soothes and takes us on journeys of hope and inspiration.
Wishing a serene rest of your weekend, Tara.
Gary :)
And a wise soul reads those words written in his heart. Your pictures made me want to get outside for a long walk by the creek. Beautiful.
ReplyDeleteHi Lee,
DeleteWise thoughts from a thoughtful lady. Thank you. The words sing from the heart. I hope you managed to go for a pleasant stroll by the creek. And if so, your experience will resonate in the words you write.
A tranquil rest of the weekend to you, Lee.
Gary :)
Oh wow! and your descriptions are full of enthusiasm and awe. Fabulous! It also says excitement/ peace and wonder to me.
ReplyDeleteHi Madeleine,
DeleteAnd your wonderful comment exudes the joy of the world we can truly see right in front of us. Thank you, Madeleine.
A happy Sunday to you.
Gary :)
Some great pictures, my friend...a very serene view. It's almost like I can hear the water running over the rocks. Looks like a great camping spot, to boot!
ReplyDeleteWell done and have a great weekend!
Hi Mark,
DeleteThank you for that, kind sir. I'm delighted you could sense the sound of the water running over the rocks. Indeed, a great camping spot.
Thank you, Mark.
A great weekend to you, my friend,
Gary :)
AH yes I live one mile from the Welsh Border . . . . . . . Lucky ME
ReplyDeleteHi Rob,
DeleteYes you are one lucky chap. And I think the Welsh are lucky to have you live so nearby. Thank you, good sir.
A pleasant Sunday to you.
Gary :)
Gorgeous and peaceful
ReplyDeleteHi Goku,
DeleteIndeed it is, my friend.
A pleasant and positive day to you.
Gary :)
I do imagine listening to the rushing water, but I don't have the words.
ReplyDeleteHi River,
DeleteThe words are written in your name, my friend.
Hope you had a lovely weekend.
Gary :)
Hi Gary - gosh lots of comments - but the photography is beautiful .. and I'd love to just be there .. exactly as you describe ... so peaceful, with the sun twinkling through the trees, splicing out from the rippling waters, prismatic colours alighting as little faeries dart around ...
ReplyDeleteCornwall draws me - but to explore Wales would be lovely .. cheers from a warm and sunny Eastbourne after a cool Saturday ... Hilary
Hi Hilary,
DeleteI'm blessed in getting a lot of comments. Of course, I do try to comment back to everybody and that doubles the count. Makes it look twice as good :) You have described so magically with your added perspective. I appreciate that.
Cornwall and Wales, to me, have a similar calling. Somewhat akin to a spiritual whisper. Cooler over the weekend, mostly, up in the north.
Thank you, Hilary.
Gary
Hi Gary .. I forgot to mention the trout and salmon - must have lovely suppers around there .. or bbq?! in the tent ..
ReplyDeleteNow I really am hungry and it is almost time for lunch! H
Aha, Hilary,
DeleteI never noticed any fish. However, I've no doubt that the opportunity for such a BBQ would be there. What a place to camp.
Hope you had a hearty lunch.
Gary
After seeing these beautiful pictures, I realize that Thoreau had a point when he visited Walden Pond.
ReplyDeleteBesides not wanting to pay his taxes, that is.
Greetings Mr. Penwasser,
DeleteHenry David Thoreau. On Walden Pond. Indeed and my reply to you is non-taxable. I'm delighted you thought these were beautiful pictures. Thank you and good day, sir.
Gary
I KNEW you'd get the allusion! My hat's off to you. And I'm not even wearing a hat.
DeleteAh Al,
DeleteGood sir, I shall allude to your allusion. And doth, my intellectual friend, me thinks your hat in your icon has be truly tipped. I tip my hat back at you. I'm actually wearing a baseball cap.
Such beautiful pictures; such a magical place!
ReplyDeleteHi Elizabeth,
DeleteA magical place where the thoughts embrace.
Wishing you a peaceful Sunday, Elizabeth.
Gary
Such beauty makes us seem inferior, because we really are.
ReplyDeleteWell, I.B,
DeleteIf only we tuned into nature's balance. The balance would be less inferior and more understanding.
Thank you, my kind friend.
Gary :)
all that water makes me want to....go!
ReplyDeleteHi Kerrie,
DeleteUm go as in go. Or go as in go...:)
Gary :)
Lovely pictures! It looks like the perfect place to be.
ReplyDeleteHi Sherry,
DeleteThank you. A perfect place on a perfect day.
Gary :)
I imagine being there with someone I cared for deeply, someone on the save length, someone who appreciated these sights as much as I would.
ReplyDeleteHi Linda,
DeleteIn your heart, the transport of your imagination, you are there with someone who understands, who appreciates such awe the way you do.
Thank you, Linda.
Gary :)
I really needed these enchanting photos today, Gary. Soothing and beautiful. I'm always heartened and inspired by nature, by waterfalls, by lush green surroundings.
ReplyDeleteShannon at The Warrior Muse
Hi Shannon,
DeleteI am heartened that the enchantment touched your senses, dear lady. You rejoice in the wonders of the great outdoors and immerse yourself in a natural balance.
Thank you, Shannon.
Ongoing soothing wishes, your way,
Gary
I know nothing, saw nothing, did nothing, said nothing...except it was Mark K's brainchild. And of course, Alex helped kick-it off. Don't know what I'm talking about? Neither do I!
ReplyDeletexo
Hi Robyn,
DeleteAnd thus, the lady returneth. Like you, I know nothing, saw nothing, did nothing, but I do note that somebody has a "brainchild" :)
And Alex and Robyn and Morgan and Tina and Mark and Gary, have no idea at all!
Thank you and with that I shall hurriedly slap up a posting about the subject that neither of know anything about.
Gary :) x
So pretty!! Peaceful and eternal - I like that :)
ReplyDeletelove Robyn's comment - and I think you need to check out Alex's post today :P
Hi Jemi,
DeleteWhy thank you. Nobody ever called me pretty before. LOL. Okay, ignore me. I'm delighted you liked the photos, eh!
Who is Alex? :)
Gary :)
Such beautiful, beautiful pictures. Would love to be there now. Will try to find the words, or maybe just enjoy the silence and wonder of nature through them, thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteHope you are doing well, Patches says to say Hi to Penny!
Hi Yolanda,
DeleteThank you and the pictures are reflective of such a magical place. The words are written in your silence :) My pleasure to share.
All is well and Penny says hello to Patches :) Keep smiling, Yolanda :)
