The Rainbow Release.

Filling in a form
Feeling so forlorn
British government
Wont repent
Filling in a form
Causing a storm
In my head
Fills me with dread
Dredging up the illness
When I want stillness
They wont leave me be
They torment me
Take away my money
It isn't funny
They do not learn
Peace, I yearn
The sick getting sicker
Hurting my ticker
The poor are suffering for the rich
Aint that a bitch
And do those in power
In cushioned tower
Not learn from the man
Who had a plan
A plan of peace
The Rainbow Release

    1. Hi Alex,

And would like to think that the challenges we are bearing will see the vulnerable, the poor, the disabled, those with mental health issues, will see of God's promises as we encounter man at his most ruthless.

I have spent all of Christmas so far filling in yet more forms that only cause me to feel even sicker. It has to stop.

      Thank you, kind sir.

I can't help thinking though that when the U.S. became the U.S.S.A. in the last few years and the President took us in direction of a socialized society that it also affected other governments, especially in GB and Europe.

    1. Hi Gossip_Grl,

Thank you and yes, there is much painful truth within the prose. I know of being better and just when better becomes a peaceful place, the British government sends me out yet another form to prove I'm ill. I never asked to get ill. Indeed, verbalising, getting it out there, is such a releasing therapy. What's happening here is that ripple impact of austerity. Where the poor pay for the mistakes of the incompetent fortunate.

      Thank you, my friend.

    1. Hi Arleen,

I totally understand what you are saying. And with your worthy work, there is forms that are essential to make sure those who need the supplies, get them.

The forms I'm filling in are just a constant repetition of something I already proved. Our government is causing a huge amount of stress to the most unfortunate in society. People having their benefits removed when it is obvious they need them. A person with terminal cancer told they are fit for work, is one example of what's going on here.

I appreciate your kind thoughts, dear lady. I have filled in more forms than I care to think about. And not only this time of year.
